Zillow Showcase Video Guide

As of October 14, 2025, Zillow officially rolled out Showcase Video, a feature that lets agents upload a short, high-impact video directly into a Showcase™ listing's photo carousel, right in the second slot, exactly where buyer attention is highest. Here's what it is, why it's likely becoming the new standard for premium listings, and what you need to know before your video gets uploaded.

What Is Zillow Showcase Video?

Zillow Showcase Video is a dedicated video slot inside the photo carousel of a Zillow Showcase™ listing. Instead of a video link buried in the listing description or hosted somewhere separate, the video plays directly in the carousel buyers are already scrolling through, in the second position, right after the primary photo.

What Are the Rules?

A few things matter for approval:

• Licensed music matters more than ever. Using unlicensed or copyrighted music risks the video getting rejected.
• Agents can appear on camera. Showcase Video isn't restricted to property-only footage.
• Voiceover is addressed separately from on-camera appearances. See the video above for exactly how that's handled.
